I took the designated Chaco
Alternate because the main route turned into gumbo
from all the rain we have had in the last few days.
Avoid riding on the gumbo mud
at all costs. Even when it looks dry, half an
inch underneath it is still muddy. Once it is on
your tires, it is like oozing molasses mixed with
sand. It doesn't come off! |
