On my way up Boreas Pass,
elevation 11,482 ft. I cheated and took a shuttle up
to Bankers Tank, halfway up the pass, to try and
beat the incoming storm.
The thunderstorm moving in
this afternoon is going to be a real doozy and it is
supposed to last all week with snow expected 2,000 feet lower than the trail elevation.
The thunderstorms up here
are violent with lot of lightning. |
