I became very sick and had to hitch a ride, 5
miles into Steamboat, CO. When I arrived at the
state park I had a slight fever and was checked out
by an EMS.
Brent Lounsbury, the Senior Ranger was nice
enough to drive me around in his truck to find an
open campsite on the Labor Day weekend.
Thanks to his help I got the last camp site
through a cancellation. |
